Day 3: Body scrub at Urban Retreat Asok Branch - Bangkok, Thailand

Found some good reviews and recommendation for Urban Retreat.  We went to the Asok Branch which is a few minutes walk from Terminal 21.  The pictures online looks really bright, clean and nice.  However, we were quite disappointed when we arrived.  Not very clean and a little old.

We went for a body scrub package which was 1500 Baht per person for 2 hours.  Cho talked me into getting a body scrub, but I ended up hating it.  I felt like a piece of meat on the table and people marinating me with salt and oil.  I was cold and sticky from the oil.  Lying on the oil soaked bed, it was just very uncomfortable.  I don't feel my skin any smoother afterward anyways.

There is a shower in the room for us to wash off the oil afterward, but it didn't feel very clean.

I guess body scrub is not for me.
