Day 3: Divana Signature Cafe - Bangkok, Thailand
For those who can't stand being in the heat, there is always some place to spend the afternoon in Bangkok. While walking through Central World, this little cafe caught our eyes. The decor is so pretty. It feels like we were in a garden at the Divana Signature Cafe. Their afternoon tea sets were so pretty!
The flower tunnel leading to the tables is magical~ The staffs are very attentive and polite.
Their afternoon tea set looks really pretty. It comes with champagne or white wine, I forgot which, but it is only about 1,500 Baht. However, we didn't get the set as I didn't want to drink and I don't want to eat much desserts. I don't really like pastry. The thing that caught my eyes is the floral gelatin. It's not real flower inside. It's just coloring that's injected into the clear citrus gelatin. Pretty!
They served it with dry ice~ Mystical looking.
We ordered a drink with it too. Total was 471 Baht. I think it is quite expensive in local standard, but pretty much the same as food in Hong Kong and usually the food look and taste like crap for this price in Hong Kong anyways. So, I'd say it was a good deal here.
