老沸爺火鍋 Lafayette Hot Pot - Causeway Bay, Hong Kong

Friends and I love hot pot. Wen tto Lafayette Hot Pot in Causeway Bay after seeing some of their advertisement on Facebook. There is the $188 and $288 all you can eat option. For $288, you get a set of premium beef and seafood. There are more soup base optio for $288. $188 has beef too, just not as high quality. Since, we don't like seafood, we chose $188 instead.

The design of the restaurant made us feel like we travelled back in time.

So we order the spicy duck blood soup on the right side and the fermented veggie with pork on the left side. Loving both the soup base.

There is a fridge full of veggie and drinks that we can self serve~

There is also a self serve bar to mix your own dipping sauce.

There are some appetizer snacks buffet table too. All taste pretty good.

Love how we can just order the different dishes on wechat. Very easy to use. We ordered some of the weird items that we usually won't order.

This is a pig intestine knot. I don't get it...why tie the poor thing's intestine into a knot?

Another dish we would never order is chicken testes.....It looks gross and end up not eating it afterall.

A pig's brain. It looks and tastes just as gross. After its cooked, it's still very soft and mushy like a pudding. It has a strong brainy smell. The spicy soup and dipping sauce could not cover its brainy smell.
