Flash Trip to Taiwan Day 2

Continuing our food experience in Taiwan on the 2nd day.  Starting with Michelin 1 star Taiwan beef noodle at Tien Hsiah San Chueh (Eat 70).
The restaurant opens at 11:30am, but a line forms outside at around 11am.  And that doesn't guarantee a table as the restaurant is almost fully booked.

They have the most tender beef on the noodle and their soup is so light and flavorful even without being oily.  Amazing soup.

Also order a plate of assorted braised food with egg, beef, tofu, seaweed, pig ears and soy products.  This is a small plate only and I think it's enough for at least 3 people.

Ended the trip with a tea experience at Xiaoyin Tea Temple 小隱茶庵 (Eat 74).  Unlike the impression of Chinese tea I had, thinking it's for old men, this place is elegant and modern.  Looks more like a tea place for young people.  Serves a variety of tea blends that pairs with different sweet Chinese snacks.

The place is small and elegantly decorated.

The tea comes with instruction on how long to brew.

The Chinese sweets were so good and not overly sweet.
