Checking out One Avenue·卓悦中心 in Futian through different borders - Shenzhen, China

Wanted to check out what crossing the Futian border to China is like.  Took the MTR to Lok Ma Chau station, which is connected to the custom.  Crossed the border in 10 minutes.  It was easier than I thought.  Futian border is not my 2nd favorite border to get to China.

Futian border is connected to the Shenzhen metro.  Took line 4 to One Avenue·卓悦中心 (Shop 20) with only 2 stops.  Only 15 minutes away from the border.

It's a huge mall.  Not a luxury mall though.  No luxury brands.  All random and casual brands inside.  For me, there was nothing interesting that I would buy.
Kept getting lost inside.  Too big.

The only shop that got my interest is KKV that sells lots of random things...mostly useless things though. hahah...

There is also a creepy pet shop selling tarantula, frogs and lizards....

Got some drinks and food.  All was ok~

Decided to get back to Hong Kong through the Liantang Port 莲塘口岸 which is about 20 minutes on taxi from One Avenue·卓悦中心.  Only 35 CNY~

This port seems to be for the older generation.  Lots of shops selling old people food.  BBQ meat, dried seafood, cooked chicken~  All can be packed and taken across the border.

Again, not much walking to go through the custom at Liantang Port.

Many buses and taxi available at the port to take people to various places in Hong Kong~  Seems like the Lowu Port is the worse to cross.

Got a small chicken from Liantang port.  It was still hot when we got home.  Was a little skeptical about the quality of cooked food there.  Turns out it looks and tastes fine.  Was not sick afterward~
