Deep Sea Gradient

I love glitters! Tried to do a gradient blue with glitters. It turned out to be really clumpy.


I put on a coat of clear coat on the top part of my nail, then pour light blue on it. Then put some clear polish on the middle section of my nail and put a darker blue glitter on. Then lastly the tip with dark blue. By doing this, there would be hash line between the colors. I had to smudge it a little with my finger. The result is a thick clumpy coat.

Can someone please help and share your idea on how to make a smooth gradient with glitters?
