Neon Genesis Evangelion - EVA01 Nail Art

Any fans of neon Genesis Evangelion out there?

Here is a nail art for you guys.  If you can read Chinese, this 初號機 is dedicated to all you 毒男/宅女.  

I am actually not a fan of the anime.  However, I have some blue and purple and didn't know what to paint.  Then someone suggested me that I should paint EVA01!  I don't know why, but the purple turned out so dark on my nails.  It's lighter in the bottle.  I am quite disappointed about that.  It would have looked better with a brighter purple.  

Please also forgive me about the non-straight lines.  I did this in the office during office hours.  Hope my boss will never find out my blog.  I painted in the details with a toothpick.  Hence, the raggedy lines.  

I found this picture randomly online and my nail art is based on the different lines and part of the bottle on this model.  I can't remember where I found this picture.  I am sorry if the owner saw this here.  Let me know and I will link the photo back to you.

So first I painted the base color.

This is just 1 coat.

This is 2 coats.  I love the ONL glitter polish!!!!!  It's so gorgeous!

So, after painting the base colors, I juse used a toothpick to fill in the purple details.

You might ask which black polish I used.  The thing is, I didn't use any black polish.  I was in the office and had no black polish with me.  So, I used a permenant marker/sharpie instead.  I hope it's not toxic....
