Plaid Shirt Nail Art

I am absolutely in love with this nail art.  I love the plaid print.  Reminds me of plaid print shirts!  Although it seems complicated, but it's actually really easy to do!  It will take some time to wait for each layer to dry tho.  The trick to this is using sheer/jelly colors.

Sally Hansen Triple Strong Strengthener

Skin Food

Pa Nail Color Premier AA120

LA Colors 

ME NA155 Solid Gold

Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat

So, first I painted 2 coats of the base colors on the thumb and middle finger.  For the index, ring and pinky finger, paint 2 or 3 coats vertically.

After everything is dried, paint the 3 colors in 3 horizontal stripes.  Just 1 coat will be fine.

After everything is dried again, add a gold stripe.

Then to add a little more detail, just add a couple of studs.

I really love this look!  So cute!  Looks complicated but very easy to do.
