Day 3: Beach Party at SO Sofitel Hua Hin - Thailand

To our surprise, the hotel told us there will be beach party during the time we are staying at their hotel.  They have a private beach at the hotel.  So, it's only reasonable to have a private beach party on the first Saturday of each month?  All the guests staying at the hotel are invited.  Free entry.  I see many people coming from outside to join the party as well.

The party started at 4pm when the sky was still bright.  They had a little stage for the DJ and setting up lightings.   A lot of work~

We had a spa at 5pm.  By the time we are out from the spa, the sky was already dark and it was 7pm.  It's early but people were already going wild and drunk at the beach~

By the pool area, there is a barbecue.  Seafood barbecue?  We didn't eat at the barbecue though.  We had way too much to eat at lunch.

It's still early, not too many people at the beach, but for those that were there, they were drunk...

There were staffs performing some fire tricks that was way too close to the crowd.  Also, as people were drunk, they can't help but to run toward the fire.  Overall, it feels very dangerous when you are sober.

We order 2 drinks, stayed to watch a bit of the performance.  It was getting way too hot.

It may seem fun to stay at a hotel with crazy beach parties, but we found out that's not the case that night.  There are many young people staying at the hotel, probably because of the beach party.  The party is supposed to end at 10pm, but that obviously was not the case.  People were running around in the hallway, screaming, banging on the wall, and doing whatever they could to create nerve racking noises until 7am the next morning.  The room above us obviously invited a bunch of guys and girls into their room.  I saw them bring back bags and bags of alcohol to their room earlier that day.  I should have known that was a bag sign.  I just didn't know they would party so irresponsibly.  I had a phase in life when I like to drink and hang out with friends and perhaps had some noisy parties too, but I never realized how annoying it would be to those that wasn't part of the party...For those that want a quiet relaxing trip to rest our soul and mind, don't come during the first weekend of the month.  For party animals that just want to drink and fuck with friends all night long....visit on the first weekend of the month....
