Jam Cafe - Downtown Vancouver, Canada
We have been hearing a lot about Jam Cafe that it's a must try for breakfast. Opening at 8 am, we already had to line up for 30 minutes when we arrived at 8:20am. Super popular and busy, which made us to have super high expectation!
There are so many different options...and it's just breakfast. Hard choices to be made.
Feels like we were in a cabin~
We first ordered the apple syrup pancake! The spongy pancakes was soaked in apple syrup. Super soft and delicious and not too sweet. I hate pancakes that are sweet to the point that irritate my through.
Gravy coops. It's a piece of fried chicken on biscuit with gravy on the side. The chicken is a little on the hard and dry side, but still acceptable. I like the hash brown on the side though!
Green egg and ham. It's not very good actually. The green egg is spinach and egg and that was quite dry and hard. I do like the giant biscuit on the side though, but the girls said they've had better.
Salmon egg Benedict. Egg Benedict is always good.
Everything was very good and very big! None of us could finish our plate. And after tax, it's $71.40CAD. It's so expensive to eat in Vancouver, compared to Hong Kong, but then it really depends on what you eat. This breakfast is definitely not on the cheap side though~
