Themed Restaurant in Hong Kong - Transformers: The Ark
Not really a Transformers fan, but it's bee the latest hype that there is a world first Transformers theme burger joint that just opened up in Causeway Bay in Hong Kong - Transformers: The Art (Eat 1).
It's like a McDonalds but with Transformers theme and with a souvenir shops right at the entrance selling Transformers toys. I will never understands why anyone would spend thousands of dollars on a plastic figure/toy. I am just not a fan.
Very simple menu. To my surprised, it isn't crazily over priced even though it is located in one of the most expensive district. With all the staffs and making the whole place looking like we are inside the Ark in outer space, makes me wonder if the place is profitable.
2 burgers, a kids meal and a drink comes to HKD250. Not too bad. Expected to pay more than this.
The packaging is nice too.
Just like McDonald's happy meal, their kids meal comes in a box, but shape like a space ship.
The kids meal got macoroni and cheese, pop corn chicken, fries and an apple juice.
I don't know how they do it, but the fries are actually not good. Not hot and tasted funny. The pop corn chicken is pretty dry and hard.
Macaroni is bland and simply not good.
The burger buns is in the shape of Autobots. The bun is too big compared to the filling. The fish burger actually taste pretty good.
Chicken burger is normal. Would be better if the patty can be bigger. It's like eating just the buns now.
Was never there for quality food. Really just want to experience having a meal in space/Ark. So, wasn't upset about the quality of the food.
