Day 4: Nemophila Festival 2024 at Maishima Seaside Park - Osaka, Japan
Spring in Osaka means it's the time to visit the nemophila festival at Maishima Seaside Park (See 67). The festival was from April 6th to May 6th of 2024.
There is a bus no. 81 at Chidoribashi Station that goes to Maishima Seaside Park that comes once every 1 hour. However, it's a small bus and it was completely full!!!! Better to just take the taxi or Uber.
Taxi from Chidoribashi Station to Maishima Seaside Park is less than 4000 yen. So, it's really not that bad especially if you are travelling in a group of four. Even if you aren't in a group of 4, there should be some others who can't get on the bus. Just gather 4 people and share a taxi. That's what we did.
The only day with a bright blue sky for the entire trip we were at Osaka.
Entrance fee for adults was 1500 yen.
Lots of food trucks that we didn't try out~ Too many things we planned to eat in Osaka. No more space in our stomachs for food strucks.
The blue trio of sky, sea and flowers!
Paved walk way. Easy to walk through the park even for people on wheelchairs.
Amazing view.
There were actually a lot of people, but still somewhat manageable for good pictures at certain angles.
Great place for dates.
Way too many people lining up for food. Immediately lost interest in getting anything.
Food trucks that we didn't try.
