Day 3: Hinodeyokocho Fujihachishoten 日の出橫丁 - Osaka, Japan
Decided to go for some late night snack. Wonderful thing about living near Nipponbashi Station was that everything was in walking distance. We just googled food on the google map and there were dozens of restaurants nearby. We picked another restaurant on the map but the line for the restaurant was just too long. So, we just walked around and found this Japanese bar.
They have some funky translation on the menu. I guess they trusted google translate too much or was it on purpose?
This restaurant has got to be the dirtiest restaurant I've been to in Japan. Not that I am complaining. I am used to dirty restaurants in Hong Kong anyways. Just surprised to see a restaurant in Japan that has super sticky floor and overall unclean environment. However, we sat down anyways, and we've been to dirtier places in Hong Kong. So, it was OK.
Ordered some highballs and they are just really sugary soda with a hint of booze in it. Not recommended.
We ordered a bunch of little dishes. I guess they are all OK. No wow factor in anything. I guess it's really just for a quick snack. We are not in a fancy restaurant anyways. So, it's ok.
It was pass midnight after we finished eating and most of the shops were closed, except for the bar restaurants, of course. Many people were still out. I guess Osaka is a late night city.
We thought of going to this particular restaurant, but however their line up was way too long. Is it really that good???
