Day 5: Shinsekai - Osaka, Japan
We were just bored and looking though google map to see where else we can go. We were hungry, we don't want to go shopping, we just wanted to find an interesting place to walk around after dinner. We found this point call Shinsekai and saw some interesting pictures. The places seems to be mainly for dining.
The place has a retro feel. There are old fashion looking shops in small alleys and bright store fronts on the larger streets. Really photo opportunities.
They even have a theater.
There were several vintage video arcade displaying video games for decades ago that you can actually play with. They even label the year it's from. Nostalgic. Feeling super old.
There is a Hello Kitty parking lot there as well. Does everything have to be so cute in Japan?
There were capsule toys shops as well. Not much difference from the toys selling at Nipponbashi though.
There were other game stall similar to those you would see at carnivals. All looking very old. Or at least they make it seem old.
The snack stores look very much like the ones I would see from history museum that would be displaying shops from 30 years ago.
Very fun place to look around.
