Aava Whistler Hotel - Whistler, Canada

Whistler in the summer turns out to be just as busy as winter time.  We booked our hotel just a couple weeks before going, so most of the hotels were full.  Luckily, we managed to get a full at Aava Whistler Hotel.  From the pictures on expedia.com, most of the hotel rooms look very old fashion.  Seems like something you would find from a few decades ago.  However, when I arrived Whistlers, most of the hotel's outside look very new, not sure about their room.  Most seem like they have just renovated, including Aava Whistler Hotel.

Parking is $20CAD a night at the hotel, which is ok.  It is so close to the village.  It's literally a 2 minute walk away just across the street.

Seriously, all the hotels there look very nice, at least on the outside.  Of course, they don't have the modern design feel.  Actually, they all look very similar with the same cabin/lodge look, but all pretty new looking.

Before we check into Aava Whistler, we were worried that it would be old and run down.  Our concerns were gone when we go to their lobby.  It's not a 5 star hotel, but it's still very clean and nice.

Room was normal.  Nothing to really complain, but it would definitely be better if it's not carpet.  I just find carpet in hotels are usually dirty.

The washroom was clean too.  The shampoo and conditioner was not bad.  At least I was able to comb through my 3 feet of hair afterward.
