Araxi Oyster Bar - Whistler, Canada
There are many restaurant options in the village of Whistler. With the help of google, we found one with a pretty high ratings---Araxi Oyster Bar.
There was a bit of a line up. We had to wait about 30 minutes, which was OK. We just walk around the village to explore while waiting for the restaurant to call us back when the table was available.
Looking at the menu, it's really not that expensive too when I compare to any western restaurants in Hong Kong that serve decent food.
No idea why this pine picture is here...
Started off with bread and butter as usual~ Nothing special about their bread though.
Paradise Valley Pork. The pork was very juicy and tender unlike the usual pork. I love their onion rings.
Homemade pasta with mushroom. Very creamy just the way I like it. Why can't restaurant in Hong Kong throw in some real cream? Is it really that expensive????
Last one is fish. I don't know what fish. I just know it was gooood.
It's times like this that makes me miss Vancouver. Food in general is good there. I miss western food, which is easily accessible there.
Araxi is at point Y in Places Part 3 on the map below:
