Day 1: Airbnb at the building next to Exit 1 of Hongdae - Seoul


Another trip staying at a place booked on Airbnb.  I love staying at the Hongdae district.  An area with everything I need.

This room I booked has 4 beds.  I was very surprised that they were 4 real beds. Very spacious and comfy.


Whenever I book a place in Seoul, the first thing I look for is that the washroom needs a screen around the shower.  I can't stand having everything wet after shower.

The place has its own washing machine, which is also very important to me.  I always try to bring as little with me as possible.  Having a washing machine allows me to bring even less as I can just wash my clothes every night and be ready to wear again the next day.





Being right next to the Hongik University Station exit 1, we were in the busiest part of Hongdae.  Exit 1 is right across from the infamous exit 9 where it's the spot for people to meet up before partying.


Although there is a mini kitchen for us to cook, we never had a chance to use it as there were just too many restaurants nearby.
