Day 1: Meerkat Cafe - Hongdae, Seoul
Went to the Meerkat Cafe as my friend have never been there before. This time we went, they no longer require us to buy a drink in order to enter. Instead, we just pay an entrance fee of 12,000 won.
Unsure if it was a weekday afternoon, but the place was almost empty other than the staff and animals. Some of the animals we saw last time were no longer there and there were some new animals instead. But of course there were still meerkats. It wouldn't be called a Meerkat cafe if there weren't any.
The last time we went, there were a couple kangaroos, but this time we went, there were only one.
If the cafe is always this quiet, I don't know how much longer it will survive. There were more staffs there than customers. In a way, it's good for the animals, but definitely not good for the business.
