Food for my eyes and my stomach at Floom Floom - Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
A good dinner to enjoy is when there is tasty food, a quiet environment and food that even my eyes can enjoy. Been looking for a pink pasta since I couldn't find one in Seoul. Turns out there is a little restaurant call Floom Floom that serves pink pasta just like the ones in Seoul. I know I am not a very practical person, but I just enjoy eating food that tastes as good as it looks. Floom Floom is a super tiny restaurant in an old building in Tsim Sha Tsui. Since it's not on ground floor, I wouldn't have notice it wasn't for Instagram. I am using IG way to much lately when I look for restaurants to visit. If only this restaurant is a little bigger. The place is very small and a little old and almost run down.
It was during Christmas season and so they had some seasonal items on the menu, like this white chocolate avocado latte. Sweeeeeet~ and cute. But I can do without the white chocolate. I love avocado smoothie on it's own~
To add more pink to our dinner, we order a strawberry milkshake as well.
The drinks looks so pretty with the blue color. So, we ordered the butterfly pea drink. I forgot what the name was, but it's pretty, isn't it?
My pink pasta finally arrived. There is an ice cream like thing on it that's actually pink cream cheese. Just stir it into the pasta and the white cream sauce turns into a rich cheesy pink cream sauce~
Next we had the fuji mountain curry. The curry is a little citricy. I guess not everyone likes it, but I am ok with it. It's so cute. The blue part of the rice taste like normal rice.
Mentaiko pasta. It looks like any regular mentaiko pasta. It tastes good too. Just no surprises for the eyes.
Last was an avacado pasta. Lovely avocado lately. Love the sweet fragrance of the fruit.
Floom Floom is at point q in Places Part 2 on the map below:
