俏凤凰(金光华广场店) Beef noodle - Shenzhen

Always scared to try out new food in China.  So, didn't want to try anything to exciting or fancy.  Also, we find that people in Shenzhen love lining up for food.  They seem to be willing to wait for hours for dinner.  Not us though.  We just want to sit down and eat.  Was in 金光华广场国贸站 King Glory Plaza and ate at 俏凤凰.  Thought we could just have a regular simple noode.  Prices are so cheap compared to Hong Kong

Order the "yellow sour beef soup noodle".  Not a single word in the name mentioned that it is spicy.  It is not red or orange.  There is 2 little chilli next to the price.  When we took a sip of the soup, it's burning hot! Amazing how it is so spicy when it's not red at all.

Food in general is sooooo salty.  Order a little bowl of tofu that probaby had 10 days worth of sodium in it.  Saw a little girl at the next table eating the tofu by itself.  Amazing how she was able to eat it all without drinking anything.

Overall food is OK.  Not too bad...at least I didn't get sick afterward~
