Xiao Long Kan Hotpot 小龙坎老火锅 - Shenzhen

Our 2nd hotpot in the same day.  This time to Xiao Long Kan hotpot.  They say there is always a long line up.  So we got there around 5:30pm for an early dinner to avoid the queue.  Although we were so early, we already had to sit outside!!!  Hate sitting ouside.  So dusty and it was so hot and humid.  Lots of little moquitoes too!!!!  The restaurant looks nice...too bad we couldn't sit inside where the air conditioning is.

Anyways, the menu looks like it's some sort of posting for a concert...but it's actually selling one of the restaurant's favorite dish....geese intestines...

So hot sitting outdoor...

Although it's outdoor, it's still acceptable.  They try their best at making the outdoor seating look nice.

There is a RMB5 fee for sauce per person.  So, we used up the sauce good.  Mixing in all the goodies.

And they have these little bottle of oil to mix into the sauce....the 4 of use couldn't even finish a single bottle.  It's supposed to be 1 botter per person....I felt guilty pouring oil into my dipping sauce.

Order the 3 soup base in a pot.  Plain, tomato and the crazy spicy soup.  We order to have it mild, but it turned out to be a burning hell.  I can't imagine what "spicy" tastes like.

So, we ordered the geese intestine.  Very crunchy just the way I like it.  

The beef balls are no good....it looks bad and tastes bad.

Beef tongue...that shrunk to 1/10 its original size..

Time to start eating~

We also ordered 3 more other dish and it came to about RMB 114 per person for the 4 of us.

Not a bad deal~
