Day 1 - Tokyo - Shibuya Donki Shopping Spree

Love having our Airbnb in the Shibuya area.  It is walking distance to one of my favorite stores in Japan - Donki (Shop 24)  It was only a few minutes walk from where I was staying.

So many yummy looking restaurants along the way.

There is a Sushiro along the way~

Finally reach Donki and the place is jam packed with all sorts of goodies.  From makeup to cleaning detergent to household items.  The prices compared to Hong Kong is a lot cheaper as well.  Just so many things to buy and choose from, but so little space in my luggage.

A pretty big section just for your furry friends at home.  Lots of treats and cheap too.

But these are a little too heavy to carry home.  Canned food would take up most of the weight allowance on my check-in baggage.

A row just for golfing equipments.  New and used golf balls.

Ended up buying a whole lot.  It is just our first day in Japan and already done some damage to our wallet.  There are so many beautiful glitter eye make up.  They were just around 300 yen.  So, I didn't bother choose which color to buy.  Instead, I bought the whole collection of glitter eye makeup available.

At the back of the photo are diet protein meal replacement.  It's Shake Baby brand from Korea.  Yes, it's weird that I am buying a Korea brand in Japan, but it's not available in Hong Kong.  It wasn't very expensive in Japan too and has 10% off.  One of the tastiest meal replacement I've ever tried.  Good for when I need a quick meal on the go or when I want to cut down on my daily calories intake.  My favorite flavors are green tea and strawberry.  Definitely a must buy in Korean/Japan if you are a meal replacement person.

Although I have dozens of semi cured nail strips at home, I couldn't stop myself from buying more in Donki.  They were so cheap and so pretty! Not a student anymore, don't have all day and night to party and do my nails.  Need to quickly do my nails now with my busy schedule at work.

Feeling a little guilty for buying so many nail strips.  I think my stash at home and these new ones I bought can last me more than a year.
