Seoul in Dec 2022 - Day 4 - A day full of action figures and anime goodies
Despite the name Yogiyo Chicken (Eat 128), it has more than just chicken. Walked passed this place dozens of times in the past years that we have been to Seoul, but it's the first time we decided to grab a quick bite here. Basically most of every Korean food I see in a K drama is available here. Order taken by buying from a vending machine. A quick stop for food. Their serving so so generous, enough to feed two me
Wanted to check out Yongsan Station's i-Park Mall. Big mall, lots of food, but seems more like a mall for guys. Lots of sports wear and a Gundam Base (Buy 57) within the mall.
Finished checking out the place in about an hour...not much of a Gundam fan.
Checked out the AK& Department Store (Buy 58) just across from Hongik University Station exit 3. On the 5th floor is a place dedicated to anime and Japanese figures. Prices are not cheap though. Better pricing in Japan of course.
On the first floor, there is a shop selling giant takoyaki. Fun to try once, but personally, I think the normal size ones are better.
More anime shops near Sinchon area, walkable from Hongdae.
Went to Anseodang (Buy 49). Again, things are cheap, but nice to look at for anime fans.
Ending the day with a hot bowl of ginseng chicken soup at Baek Nyeon Baekse Ginseng Chicken Soup (Eat 129)
