Day 3: Family Mart - Kaohsiung, Taiwan

Is it just me or do convenience stores in Taiwan sell a wider varieties of products than in Hong Kong?  Nail polish....nail polish in a convenience store.

So, it was pretty late at night, we have cleaned up and ready for bed, but we still had some energy left in us.  One thing Cho hates about me is that I don't really like to rest when I am on vacation, which totally lost the purpose of a "vacation".  Instead of getting much needed rest, I would like to go out whenever there's a chance.  

As everything nearby was closed, we had to resort to visiting Family Mart instead, which is still fun in a way.  I like seeing what convenience stores in other countries sell.  Then I found they have nail polish and down jacket in their store.  It was late March, quite hot.  Totally don't understand why they would be selling down jacket at all and why in a convenience store.  Anyways, found UNT polishes.  I love their peel off base coat.  Learned about this brand while watching Simplynailogical videos and sure enough, they do have the best peel off base coat amongst all the ones I've tried.

Then there were a lot of food of course.

Totally want to try out all the different cup noodle.

Why is it that Taiwan, Japan and Korea all have many different flavored rice balls but so little in Hong Kong?  And the ones in Hong Kong suck....why?

Too bad I was too full.  If not, I would have gotten this cute melon ice cream kind of thing.

I like how they have a sitting area for you to consume the food you bought there.  Hong Kong is too crowded.  Rare to have a convenience with sitting area.
