Day 2: Poya 寶雅 - Kaohsiung, Taiwan

It was my first time going to Kaohsiung. I thought it would be similar to Taipei. But no, it's must more comfortable to get around places and to shop. In terms of getting around, our friend has a car to drive us around, so I am unsure about public transportation. However, driving around seem easy as there aren't much car and drivers are so nice. They actually let people cut into their lane anytime. No road rage, no honking!

Back to shopping at Poya 寶雅. Saw many Poya store around and none looked busy. They are huge chain stores that sell random house hold items, snacks and make up. We basically had the entire store to ourselves. There were probably only 2 or 3 other customers shopping there on Friday morning. I guess it's because people were all working? But in Hong Kong, shops and streets are filled with people during work hours or not.

Our friend was running errands and dropped us off at this Poya with 2 floors. So much random things to look at. We were mainly targeting hair products, make up and food.

Saw this mascara that has 3 level of volume. I have seen another brand with similar function but this packaging is cuter.

Lots of random Japanese and Taiwan cosmetics. I had a hard time controlling myself not to buy any. I eventually failed and bought a little.

There are just so much random shit to buy and load up on.

Seriously, is a pad this big really necessary?

Since we were in Taiwan, I guess it makes sense to get some Taiwan make up.

Got introduced to this 1028 cosmetic brand. Their eyeshadows are so pretty and smooth. Their price is so low that it seems too good to be true. We had to get some.
