Day 2: 巨型扭蛋機 M.E.me Ball (Giant Capsule Machine) - Tainan, Taiwan

After we have finished eating our late lunch, we had no idea where to go or what to do.  We were just sitting in the car googling what kind of attractions there are in Tainan.  One of the top results was this 巨型扭蛋機 M.E.me Ball. It's a giant capsule machine that actually works.  

The pictures online made the place seem busy and full of action.  However, when we arrived, this is pretty much it.  It was around 6pm and it already looked like they were ready to close.  Not sure of their work hour, but the place was just so quiet and one of the cafe there was closing.

For the capsule machine, I think it's TW$100 for 1 try, if I remembered correctly.  I saw someone played and got a box of pencil crayon.  Seeing that, I lost my interest in playing.  The prizes are probably mainly seemingly useless items that I can probably live without.  At the ticketing box, they shows boxes of TV and washing machine.  I guess it's something you can win from the capsule machine?

There are 2 coffee shop and snack bar in the containers next to the giant capsule machine.  The orange container looked like it was ready to close.

M.E.me Ball is located at a really small area in a dark quiet alley.  Basically took us about 10 minutes to finished looking around and taking pictures at the capsule machine.  It was a little disappointing as we finished so fast. 

Across from the giant capsule machine there are a few trendy looking shops.  They are small boutiques that are cutely decorated.  Their clothes' prices were really cheap.  So low to a point that I thought there was a mistake in the price tag.  We went into a really cute shop selling tops for TW$200-250.  The fabric were pretty good fabric.  And they even let us try it on.  If I am 20 pounds thinner, I think I would have bought half the shop.  However, limited by my size and shape, I only got a top for TW$200.  

The price was ridiculously low.  It seems things are cheaper in Tainan?  Because later when we went to the night market, clothings were about the same price if not lower.  However, most of the clothing's quality in night market weren't as nice.

There were a few other shops nearby there were selling things at really low price compared to Hong Kong.  Too bad there weren't more shops to look at.
