Day 5: ELK Cafe - Osaka, Japan

Was looking up fluffy pancakes on google map and found ELK Cafe in Amerikamura.  I know they are all the hypes in Hong Kong.  People are still lining up at a shop selling similar fluffy pancakes in Hong Kong after the shop has opened for a few years.  I have tried something similar at Grams before in Japan.  This time trying in ElK.

This cafe is small but cute.  Modern design.  It is somewhat crowded.  All the tables were taken up when it wasn't meal time at all.

Pancakes come with drink sets.

So, we got the strawberry and walnut pancakes.  To be honest, I am not a fan of sweets.  So, I didn't really enjoy them and certainly don't understand why people would line up for them.  I guess it's interesting at first to have fluffy bouncy pancakes.  It's light as cloud.  Other than that, I don't have any cravings for these.  I assume it is good as many people were there.
