Day 1: Airbnb in Hakata - Fukuoka, Japan
One thing I love staying at a studio from Airbnb is that I can find a place all to myself and make sure it comes with a washing machine. This time going to Fukuoka, we decided to stay near Hakata Station. This studio (Stay 5) is just 10 minutes away from Hakata Station.
It's quite a small studio, but it has everything we need. Since it's not a hotel, didn't expect it to be fancy. There actually were many options when I was trying to book a studio on Airbnb. So, this was the best I could find and it was cheap too. Only around USD80 per night that can fit 3 people. Can't ask for much with this price.
Things I always check with the host before making a reservation are:
1. Which floor is the studio on and is there an elevator in the building?
2. Is it a wet or dry washroom? Is the shower and toilet separated?
3. Is there a washing machine within the studio?
4. Is early check in or late check out possible?
5. And if there is a place for them to keep our luggage if the previous question's answer is a "no".
Usually after getting all the right answer I want, the stay would be pleasant.
