Day 1: Flying to Fukuoka and convenience store food

Flying on Hong Kong Express to Fukuoka early in the morning.  Took me so much motivation to get out of bed!

Slept most of my way to Japan.  Slept so well that I didn't even know the flight attendants handed out the declaration forms on the flight.  Had to find ones and filled it out after landing.  Which took me so much more time going through the customs.

Good timing to head to Japan with the good rates.  Well, the exchange rates are that good at the airport, but still good compared to a few years ago when I last went to Japan.

From the Fukuoka airport, there is a no. 4 bus that goes straight to Hakata Station.  The ride is about 15 minutes or so.  It was raining that day and I had no umbrella.  Ran from the arrival building to the bus stop.

Then I realize how thoughtful Japanese are.  There are free umbrella to borrow on both sides.  For people without umbrella to borrow.  So, I got soaked for no reason.

Get on the bus first and pay when you exit.  Before I know it, I was already in Hakata.

It was too early to check in to our Airbnb.  So, went to check out a the nearby convenience store.
