Day 6: Katsudon at Hakata Toriichi - Fukuoka, Japan

A trip to Japan would not be complete without having katsudon, deep fried pork cutlet on rice.  Found a katsudon restaurant in Hakata Station call Hakata Toriichi 博多鶏一 (Eat 90).

It's in the basement of the Hakata Station complex. There were people, aside from us, waiting outside before it opens.  So, we know it would be good.

The menu isn't big.  Only a few items.

We ordered a pork loin cutlet.  The rice and cabbage has unlimited refill.

So light and crispy.

Also ordered pork cutlet with egg on top.  Super good!  Love the runny egg with savory sauce.
