Day 1: AYCE wagyu at Noka no Ippuku - Fukuoka, Japan

One of the first things I craved for after landing in Japan was wagyu.  Was googling around and found a place with all you can eat wagyu inside Kawabata Shopping Arcade.  A wagyu barbecue restaurant call Noka no Ippuku (Eat 75).

I was surprised there was no line up at all for dinner.  Fukuoka is much less popular, it seems.  Not much tourists.

As we are used to being ripped off in Hong Kong, we didn't expect the meat quality to be so good for an AYCE place.  And no matter how much we order, they keep refilling with marbled beef.  Usually only the first 1 or 2 place of beef is acceptable in Hong Kong and anything refills after that would be crap.

Chicken and pork were good too.

There are quite a few cooked food items as well.  All good.

We also added unlimited drinks and ice cream.

I thought ice cream would be crappy but it turned out to be super creamy and delicious.

It was only about USD37 per person.  Absolutely not something I can get in Hong Kong.  Good price, good food.
