Junior's Restaurant & Bakery - New York
There are a quite a few Junior's Restaurant & Bakery (Eat 20) in New York. We went to the one in Times Square. I really just wanted a place to sit after a long day of walking and get a piece of cheesecake. Was taken a back when we saw the long queue for a table. However, we were too tired to find another place to sit. So, just waited. Luckily, we got a table in about 15 minutes.
I just wanted a piece of cheesecake, I don't know why we end up ordering so much food. We got a burger. Super thick patty. To be honest, it wasn't the yummiest thing I ever had. It was just OK. I won't expect high quality for a chain diner like this anyways.
Got a full rack of baby back rib. I don't know why the waiter told us it's small and we can finish all the food.
Look at the size comparing to my hand.
We also got buffalo wings.
Finally, the cheesecake I originally wanted. Got the pumpkin cheesecake. In my opinion, it's too sweet and too oily. Oil is seeping out at the bottom.
I guess the reason the place was packed with people was mainly because it's located in Times Square. Not much to do with the quality of taste.
Went for a drink in Downtown after dinner. Checking out Wall Street at night is so much better than in the day. During the day time, we would have to wait for a 15 minutes for a photo with the charging bull and it would still be filled with people in the background. At night, there is absolutely no one. We could take as many photos as we want.
