The Halal Guys - New York

I have hearing people say they love chicken over rice in New York.  Felt kind of weird to me that the name of this dish is so straight forward.  Literally chicken on rice.  I have been walking around Manhattan, trying to find a food truck that actually shows the price.  basically 9 out of 10 food trucks don't show their price.  Feels sketchy for ones with out a price.  

Saw some people say The Halal Guys (Eat 11) are good.  Was excited to find one near by.  There were already some people lining up before they were ready, so I had my hope up high.

It was a rainy day, I can't eat it outside under the rain.  Took it back to the hotel.  

Came with 2 packs of white sauce.  Looked at the nutritional value and it's 300 Cal per pack.  Crazy.....

It looks pretty good.

But to be honest, I was very disappointed.  The meat and rice were very dry.  Not much flavor.  It's overrated.  After this meal, I had no intention for any more chicken over rice regardless of where it's from.
