Paris Baguette - New York

Is it just me or the Paris Baguette in New York isn't as nice as the ones in South Korea?  The layout of the goodies aren't as OCD kind of neat and the pastries themselves don't look as appetizing.  Anyways, I still got myself a custard filled croissant with strawberries.  

I went to the Paris Baguette (Eat 16) nearest me at the time in Mid Manhattan.  Would that be the reason the place doesn't look as nice?

It tastes just like it looks.  Not as good~
