Day 1: Time Square, New York
Is Times Square (See 12) overrated? There are so many people in Times Square. It's even worse at night. Lots of tourists. But what's there to do in Times Square? Other than taking an iconic selfie there, taking a picture with some people in costumes that is not for free or getting broadway tickets, I really don't know what's there to do. Coming from a crowded city, I didn't really enjoy being surrounded by a few hundred people. Still, I think it's worth going once to see what it's like.
There are many giant shops there like Old Navy, Forever 21, GAP etc.
There are a couple stores filled with tourists. One of them is the Krispy Kreme (Eat 3). With the giant display above it, it can't be missed.
They make their donuts fresh in there.
Cool to watch the donuts be made.
Lots of random Krispy Kreme souvenir to be bought. People got to love Krisy Kreme alot to be buying them....
The shop is filled with people! Why? Why are people buying over priced M&M? Something I don't understand. They have other souvenir items there, but nothing made me feel like I must buy.
$8.99USD for 200g...seriously?
During my trip in New York, there is this market on one of the streets near Times Square. It has some food stalls and lots of stalls selling random stuff. Nothing really nice that would make people want to buy though.
Got the 3 meat over rice and salad and it's $20USD. It tasted OK, a little dry for the meat. But I think it only tasted OK because it was my first meal of the day at 5pm
