Day 1: - Feng Chia Night Market - Taichung, Taiwan
Love that we were staying at 28 Shuxiang Hotel. The hotel is located in a quiet area, yet only 10 minutes walk away from Feng Chia Night Market (Buy 2).
Cross this little bridge and I was pretty much there~
The street get busying toward Feng Chia Night Market and is lined with restaurants and casual wear shops on both sides.
Finally arrived. No matter where we turned, there were a lot of people.
The night market is huge and vibrant. Lots of claw machine/arcade shops. We lost so much money trying to win a plush. The amount of money we put in a claw machine is enough to feed 2 people in a night market. The machines are hard to win against. Yet, we couldn't help but keep inserting coins. Only 10 TWD per round.
Also lots of non brand and Taiwanese brand clothing, shoes and accessories shop for girls. Affordable pricing, so can't expect too much for quality.
The busiest part of the market has to be the areas where there are food stalls. Super packed.
Got a Taiwanese meat sausage sandwiched between a glutinous rice sausage.
Grilled mushrooms were awesome~ Only 70 TWD for a small.
More mushrooms but this one deep fried. Not cheap compared to others, but still very affordable compared to what we would have to pay outside of Taiwan.
Green bean slushies...3 for only 100 TWD. I couldn't finish 3 even if they give it to me for free. So, I just got one for 50 TWD.
There were some questionable food though. Like these braised items. First of all, don't know which part of the animals those were. Secondly, it's just laying out in the open with nothing covering them and they won't heat it up. Felt like I would get sick from eating it.
