Day 4: Rainbow Village and Wanggaoliao - Taichung, Taiwan

Started the day with breakfast in bed then off to Rainbow Village (See 1). Loving the in room breakfast in 28 Shuxiang Hotel.  Forcing us to wake up and save time finding food in the morning.

With a fellow travel buddy that has a sprained ankle, we just call for an Uber~  And 20 minutes later, we were at the Rainbow Village.

The rainbow fighter was there that day singing and playing his guitar.  A guy dressed in colorful costume with an ironman helmet promoting love and peace.

He saw my buddy with crutches and gave her a get well card~

Having our original plan impossible to follow through for someone that needs to walk with crutches, we decided to get up the mountain to Wanggaoliao 望高寮夜景公園 (See 48) to check out the view of Taichung up high.

Again we called an uber and met this absolutely sweet driver, who helped us find a good viewing spot and worried that we couldn't get an Uber back down to city, so he stayed with us free of charge to take us back down.  Taichung people are so friendly that it's almost scary.  Glad we met so many wonderful people along the way.

The view would probably be a lot nicer at night.
