Day 7: After Rain Coffee & Desserts - Taipei, Taiwan

One of my favorite food is anything matcha~  Found a small coffee shop call After Rain Coffee & Desserts (Eat 66) that serve matcha desserts.  They don't have matcha desserts everyday.  For days with matcha, check out the calendar on their IG.

Very cozy little shop with a big couch.  Reminds me of the TV series Friends.  We went on a Friday afternoon.  Not many people at all.

Their desserts are not cheap at all.  Similar price as Hong Kong.  Order a matcha tiramisu and a matcha basque cheesecake.

Drinks are ok~  Matcha latte was good.  But the matcha flavor isn't strong at all.

I like the consistency of their cheesecake.  Not too runny and not too stiff.

Their matcha tiramisu is very creamy.

However, I personally don't really like the desserts.  They are good, but could barely taste the matcha.  The texture is good, with very strong milky flavor.  However, I went there for matcha.....which was lacking.  Total was almost 800 TWD.  A little disappointing for a matcha lover.
