Day 3: Miyahara Ice Cream - Taichung, Taiwan

There aren't many things to do when you google on Taichung.  The Miyahara ice cream shop is one of them.  They have an outlet just for takeout (Eat 4) and one for dine in (Eat 84).  Went to the dine in one first.  Sadly, hot savory food stop serving at around 6pm.  We got there too late and could only have ice cream.

The shop for dine in is much smaller than the other one.

Pricey ice cream, very little people.  Or maybe it was late?

The machine for waffle?  Well, it wasn't operating at the time we visited.

Lots of different flavors of ice creams.  Some with interesting names....

A topping bar.

Got ourselves a warm bubble tea and an ice cream with a weird name.

We ordered a "Glam time" bubble tea and a single scoop of "Say goodbye to the past" for TWD 230.

It taste ok.

There is a section selling Taiwanese treats for souvenir.

The bigger shop of that's mainly for take out is just a few minutes walk away.  Pass the 新盛綠川水岸廊道 Shin Sei Green Waterway (See 37) for a photo and it's there~

Really big inside, selling the same type of souvenir treats and ice cream though.

There is actually a Chinese restaurant inside.

Nearby is a Taiwan Sun Cake Museum (See 47).  Too bad it was closed when we got there.
