Day 6: Shida Night Market - Taipei, Taiwan
Checking out Shida Night Market (Eat 9). I went on a week day, there weren't that many people. It's seems a lot smaller than I remember. First came to the shop Good Old Days (Buy 35) that sells lots of cute random household items. Eating in night market and shopping is something I can do alone. No one to rush me to walk faster or eat faster. Get to try out different food stalls at my own pace.
There were many other cute shops as well. Lots of females clothes shops.
Before I go, went to get lots of take out to eat back in the hotel.
Got deep fried chicken from SHI YUN 師園鹽酥雞 (Eat 97). Long line up for this place!
Then Taiwanese salty chicken at Ji Fang Zhong Di 雞房重地鹹水雞 (Eat 98). Actually won't recommend it. Small portion and doesn't taste that good.
For around 200 TWD, I got 2/3 a bubble tea cup worth of food.
Then got some soup from A-Fa 阿發蚵仔煎當歸鴨腿 (Eat 99).
Totally no idea what I was eating in the soup, but it wasn't bad.
Love the bus system in Taipei. So easy to use and in sync with google map.
