Day 8: Tien Hsia San Chueh 天下三絕 牛肉麵 - Taipei, Taiwan

One of our favorite Taiwanese food is beef noodle.  Couldn't leave Taipei without visiting Tien Hsia San Chueh (Eat 69) again.  It's located in a quiet alley.

We arrived 15 minutes before the restaurant was opened and there were already people lining up to get it.

Afterall, it's a Michelin restaurant.

Even if people get there early, tables are not guaranteed as there are many people that have made reservations before.

Love this cute techy block thingy for service.

Food comes super fast as they need to get rid of people fast for the next round of customers.

We ordered a cucumber appetizer.  Crunchy with aromatic sesame sauce.

This is a small platter of assorted braised items.  It has tofu, seaweed, beef, pork ear, eggs....It's really big.  Can't imagine what a large portion would look likek.

Then we ordered a beef noodle.  They can split 1 order into 2 bowls.  This is just half the portion of 1 order.  Really tender beef and flavorful soup.
