Day 3 - Spring 2023 Seoul - Hongdae - BBQ at Mokrogwan 목로관

Want soybean paste soup and realize this dish usually is served at Korean BBQ places.  Came to Mokrogwan 목로관 (Eat 140).  It's in Hongdae near exit 9 of Hongik University Station  Love how they have English menu...even though we still didn't know what we ordered until the meat arrived. 

There were so many  side dishes.  Our favorite were the yuzu lotus root, pickled daikon and soy bean paste spinach.  All at unlimited refills.  The staffs are very nice as well and would refill for  us without having us to ask.  We could get full by just eating the side dishes.

It was until the meat came, that we realized we ordered a pork tomohawk.  That is 2 servings already.  Then  we also ordered a pork neck and diaphram.

Staff would cook and cut the meat for us, which is good since we always burn our meat when we have to cook it ourselves.

Quite a lot of meat.

Ordered the soy bean paste stew that is just 3000 won.

And a miso soup rice.  It looks similar to the soy bean paste stew, but taste very different. Both are so good and taste great when mixed together.

Then we also ordered a cold noodle.  Their cold noodle is so good.  Their broth is seasoned just right.  Love cold noodle.
