Day 1 - Spring 2023 Seoul - U-Ilag 우이락 雨耳樂 in Mangwon Market
Saw a nice restaurant in Mangwon Market call U-Ilag 우이락 雨耳樂 (Eat 136). Really wanted to find a restaurant to sit down and eat instead of standing outside a food stall to eat. Lucky that we found this place. We were attracted by the yummy looking fried food they have on display outside.
Their shelf of alcohol was the other thing that made us go in.
Each table got some savory and spicy snacks.
Order is place on an iPad. Bad thing about that is it's only in Korean. Good thing is it has pictures. So, although we have no idea what the words say, we could still kind of guess what it is. We wanted to find a non-spicy dish, turns out it's non-existent in the restaurant. The staff said it's mildly spicy, but it's already very to us. However, they were very good though.
They have so much vegetables in the dishes, yet it still tastes so good. We are usually a meat person. Just love how the Koreans can make veggies tastes so good.
Our favorite dish has to be their deep fried pepper. Very good.
Love their version of raw beef as well.
Sweet, savory and spicy teobokki. Yum.
Super spicy noodle. Well, the white noodle is not spicy, but whatever on the side is super spicy. We were literally crying.
Got a bottle of peach flavor makgeolli. Really yummy. We can get drunk without knowing it.
