Day 3 - Spring 2023 Seoul - Shinsegae Gangnam

After shopping in the Express Bus Terminal underground shopping arcade, we were just so tired and thirsty. Need a place to grab some food and sit down and a nice clean bathroom....

Went to Shinsegae Gangnam branch. There is a huge supermarket selling all sorts of cooked food and a food court. It was a raining weekday and the place was jam packed with people. Food is not cheap, but they were all nicely package and we were warm indoor~

Came across this meal replacement. They have a high protein version and a low calories version. Tried out a few flavors and was super surprised it actually taste good. The diet version is just around 150 Cal per serving and each bottle is about 20,000 won that has 25 servings. Bought a couple. Hopefully we can lose a few pounds after this trip of nonstop eating. Also, for when I am too lazy and have no time to cook.

Lots of drink in the supermarket that is just a fraction of the same drink selling at the food stalls within the same floor.

So many types of cooked food to choose from. We were only there to buy a drink, but ended up buying a lot of food.

To be honest, the food isn't very good as it's not hot. The hotteok is good though and is not oily.

Food was around 50000 won here. A lot more expensive than buying on the street, but when we were dead tired and our backs feeling like it was going to break into 2 pieces, 50k won isn't a lot.
