Day 1: Strolling through Jaffa flea market and Neve Tzedek - Tel Aviv, Israel

Walking through the Jaffa flea market (Shop 1) in Tel Aviv in the middle of the summer is no joke.  It was burning hot and we could barely breathe when it's 40 C out there.  However, did not regret it.  It fill with interesting shops selling lots of cool and cool looking decors and random jewelries and clothes.  Honestly didn't buy much, but just interesting to look at.

Why would anyone be buying old spoons and fork? I don't know but it reminds me of the scene where Ariel was collecting forks and spoon from the human world.

The area really isn't that big.  And it's walking distance to the Neve Tzedek area which according to google is where the trendy clothes shops are.  We saw some clothing stores, not sure if those are the trendy ones though.  Very different fashion styles compared to Japan and Korea.  Still, many of the items were nice.

Lots of interesting architects to check out in the area.

And then there is the clock tower.  One of the touristy spot for photos.

It was so hot that we ran into the first convenience store we came across.  Needed to cool down with AC.  That's when we saw instant noodle is 10 - 13 NIS each!!!!!  Outrageous!!!!

A popular snack in Israel.  Peanut flavor chips/balls.  Like the cheese balls snack, but it's peanut flavor.  Yummy.  Light and crispy.
