Day 5 - Taipei Rose Garden

Surrounding the Taipei Fine Art Museum are several parks.  Pretty huge park.  And about 10 minutes walk from Taipei Fine Art Museum is the Taipei Rose Garden 臺北玫瑰園 (See 31).

It was mid March when I went and that's when the roses were in full bloom. 

The place is pretty big.

There were probably thousands of roses blooming at the time we went.

There were many people chilling, even though it was scorching hot that day.  99% of the population there were seniors.  So, the live band that was playing there were playing some pretty old music.  I am surprised there weren't many people that looked under 25 years old. Most of them there were grandpa grandmas.

I think it's still nice to have a place like that for photos and getting to see all the different types of roses.  Just pick a day when it's less hot...
