Day 6 - Taipei - Sushi Midori 壽司美登利 台北大安店 and East district underground mall 東區地下街

Our friend kept telling us to go to Sushi Midori since we had such a bad experience at Kura Sushi.  Somehow one night, we walked pass  Sushi Midori 壽司美登利 台北大安店 (Eat 59) and somehow there was no line up at all!  It was during dinner time as well.  So, even though we were full, we still went in to try.  

We just place order on the ipad.  There is free unlimited miso soup, but only order as much as you can drink and no take away.

Got a tuna gunkan.  Big chunks of tuna.  Yum.

We also ordered a shrimp and salmon sushi set, which the menu said it's on Taiwan menu only.

The sushi looks so good, so Cho was taking pictures and even though I told her no less than 5 times to be careful not to drop anything, she still managed to drop the good piece of shrimp sushi on the floor.  There are 3 pieces of cooked shrimp sushi and she just had to drop the one with avocado.....why can't she drop the plain one?  Still holding a grudge against her.

Total came to NT$924.  A lot more expensive but Kura Sushi but about a thousand times better in quality as well.

Since we were in the East district, we finally decided to check out what's in the underground mall (Buy 26).  The underground mall is connected to the metro, but we never went down to see.

It turns out to be pretty empty.  Nothing much to buy.
