Day 6 - Taipei - Dadaocheng Visitor Center and Dihua Street

Dihua Street (See 32) is quite interesting.  It's decorated in a way that feels like we travelled back in time.  Lots of stores selling traditional food, really ancient looking snack shops and souvenir shops.

There is a Dadaocheng Visit Center  (See 33) where we can get information about the area.

On the 2nd floor of the visitor center, tourist can rent qipao for free with a deposit.  Saw quite a few people, old and young, rented out qipao.

This is an air conditioned building.  A heaven in the summer.  After renting a qipao, there are a few rooms to take pictures in on the 2nd and 3rd floor.

There is a room with a Chinese medicine theme and  a cafe theme.

Love the room with lots of color lanterns.

There is also a room decorated as a classroom.

The area outside looks like streets from decades ago.  If it wasn't so hot that day, it would have been interesting to walk slowly to check out what's to buy.
