Day 4 - Taichung - Squid Soup 台中正老牌魷魚焿

It was actually a very hot day, but it felt like a must try in Taiwan.  They have various squid/fish soup wherever I go.  Been watching a lot of Taiwan mukbang shows and wanted to try what Taiwanese soup taste like.  After coming out of the animation lane, we found 台中正老牌魷魚焿 (Eat 46) that specialize in squid soup.

The soup can go with noodle or on it's own.  I wasn't very hungry, so just order the soup.  Just NT$60 and it was a pretty big bowl.  Very savory.

Lots of squid at the bottom and not rubbery.  Very soft and pretty good.  Unlike squid that's usually over cooked in Hong Kong restaurants.  Can't say it's super good, but it's nice to try.  Different than Hong Kong style soup.
