Day 7 - Taipei - Ivette Da An and Flight back
Another good looking cafe in Da-an - Ivette cafe (Eat 62) Another hidden little cafe is a very run down looking alley. Who would have known there's a restaurant here if there isn't google map?
Food is quite expensive compared to Taiwanese food, but normal compared to Hong Kong pricing.
Ordered a corn fritter with bacon and poached egg. The presentation is pretty good, but not much "wow" effect with the taste. It's not bad, but just not like what we had at Sugar Pea Cafe. The taste is just as you can imagine. Corn is corn, bacon is bacon and egg is egg. The ingredients just don't compliment each other.
Then we order the crab egg benedict, which is better. But still, no "wow" effect.
Total came to NT$924.
Then it's time to head back to Hong Kong. Flew on Cathay Pacific. Again, their in flight meal taste alot better than a few years ago, but there were no option. Everyone just had minced pork on rice. For beverage, there was only water.
